About us

We are a small-scale, home-based breeder of extensively health-tested, titled Havanese dogs.  We are located approximately two hours north of Toronto, Ontario. 

 

Health is important to us. All of our breeding dogs have OFA Patellas, Hips, Eyes, Cardiac, and Liver (bile acid) testing done. All of our breeding dogs are CDDY clear. We also do genetic diversity testing through UCDavis, and ensure all breeding pairs are genetically unrelated. 

 

We have bred numerous CKC Champions and Grand Champions and many hold additional sports, performance, and trick titles. 

 

All puppies are raised in our family home using the Puppy Culture. We extensively socialize our puppies, introducing them to everything from hair dryers, to car rides, to loud noises, to different smells and textures, to other animals and much more before they head to their forever home with you. We temperament test all puppies at 7 weeks using the Volhard Temperament Test. Whether you prefer more of a cuddly lap-warmer, want to take on an energetic sports prospect, or want to do conformation showing, we work with you to ensure you are matched to the best possible puppy for you.
